The kidnapped pastor’s son and a graduate of Afe Babalola University has been freed by his abductors in Calabar, the Cross River State capital, Brainnews report.

According to Brainnews, he was released on Sunday, September 13, twelve days after he was abducted.

Mr. Charles Tommy was abducted by unknown gunmen on Tuesday, September 1 in front of their house gate in Goldie Street near the cemetery. Luckily, his friend escaped unhurt.

Charles is the first son of Pastor Sylvanus Tommy, the founder of EndTime Christian Ministry situated in Goldie Street.

Charles Tommy is a graduate of Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti (ABUAD), Ekiti State. He studied Engineering.

His kidnappers who demanded for an undisclosed among were granted the offer, but unfortunately he was not released only for his abducted to demand for additional amount of N10million.

According to an eyewitness, who pleaded anonymity with Brainnews said;

“The pastor is not as rich as his son’s abductors thought, this is due to the fact that he is not the manager of his church. He paid the first amount they asked for, only for them to demand for additional N10million, in order to safe the live of his son, the man sold his two cars, a Toyota big for nothing salon car and Honda Pilot SUV.”

As at the time of this report, Charles is hail and hearty, he is currently with his family.
