1. ASUU to FG: Why do you want to spend money on IPPIS when UTAS is free?

The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has challenged the Federal Government to tell Nigerians why it prefers to spend money on enrolling workers on the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System, IPPIS, when the union’s University Transparency and Accountability System, UTAS, can be used for the same purpose free of charge.

2. IPPIS: Remain resolute, don’t enroll, ASUU tells lecturers

Universities will resume after the strike declared by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has been dashed as the union, Friday, insisted that it would not join the controversial Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System, IPPIS.

3. Strike: FG promises to release N40bn earned academic allowance to ASUU

The Federal Government has promised to pay N40 billion, being the pending Earned Academic Allowance, EAA, of University teachers. This is as the ongoing dialogue between the government and the Academic Staff Union of Universities.

4. Strike: FG to release N30bn earned allowances to ASUU

The Federal Government has agreed to release N30 billion as part payment of the Earned Academic Allowances (EAA) to the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU). Sen. Chris Ngige. Minister of Labour and Employment said this at the end of a meeting between the Federal Government and ASUU on Friday in Abuja.

5. ASUU: FG denies replacing UTAS with IPPIS

THE Federal Government Thursday lamented that the continuous closure of Nigerian Universities as a result of the strike embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, over the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System, IPPIS has contributed to the ongoing #EndSARS protest.
