Hon. Alex Egbona Cares Initiative To Commence Payment Of N200K Loan To Micro Business Entrepreneurs In Abi/Yakurr

Hon. Alex Egbona has just completed the empowerment of over 500 women farmers in Abi/Yakurr Federal Constituency through the Alex Cares Initiative.

The empowerment sponsored by NDE saw the disbursement of the funds to beneficiaries at Ekureku in Abi LGA. The disbursement location was chosen by NDE.

In another development, the Alex Cares Initiative has completed arrangements with CBN/NIRSAL for the disbursement of 200 Thousand Naira to Small/Medium Size Businesses in Abi/Yakurr Federal Constituency. The funds are distributed by the Central Bank of Nigeria through Nirsal Micro Finance Bank Covid-19 Intervention program.

The selection was made online through the CBN Covid-19 Micro Credit Support portal. Hon. (Dr.) Alex Egbona is standing as a guarantor to these selected constituents to enable them get the loan. A total of 60 people have been selected to benefit this 200K.

The Alex Cares Initiative has plans for another empowerment of 500 artisans with equipments in various trade.

A team of specialists will be sent to the federal constituency for needs assessment.

Hon. Alex Egbona is working tirelessly to enhance the livelihood of his constituents.
