2. Ban UK Flights Over New Strain Of Coronavirus – Atiku Tells Federal Govt
Former Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar has asked the federal government to ban flights from United Kingdom after new strain of Coronavirus was detected in the country.
Atiku who stressed that Nigeria took the first hit of Coronavirus because the Federal Government failed to heed the warnings of well-meaning Nigerians, stated that the new strain of Coronavirus that has erupted in the United Kingdom and specifically, London, can add to Nigeria’s health emergency if those in charge do not act with an abundance of caution and temporarily halt all flights to and from the UK until the new strain is brought under control. Spokesman of the corps, Surajo Idris, who confirmed the arrest on Monday, said the suspect is alleged to be responsible for the sudden disappearance of Fatima, a member of the First Aid Group of the Young Muslim Congress of Nigeria in Giza Development Area of Keana Local Government of the state.
