Unknown gunmen invaded Kaigar Malamai village and abducted the village head and 15 others in Danmusa Local Government area of Katsina State on Tuesday, December 22.

2. 11 NYSC Members Test Positive For Coronavirus In The Taraba Orientation Camp

11 National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members have tested positive for coronavirus in Taraba State Orientation camp.

3. ASUU Suspends Its 9-Month-Old Strike

ASUU National President, Biodun Ogunyemi made the announcement during a briefing of the union in Abuja, explaining that the development followed with its National Executive Council (NEC).

While warning that the union would return to strike without notice if the government fails in meeting its part of the agreement reached with the university lecturers, Ogunyemi noted that the reopening of the schools, considering the COVID-19 pandemic, lies with the Federal Government and Senate. The materials included, bags of rice, beans, cartons of tomatoes, pasta, bags of salt and sugar, detergents,cartons of soap, plastic buckets, bundles of roofing sheets and other building materials, cooking utensils, gallons of groundnut oil,and mattresses.
