Aston villa have confirmed the signing of Emiliano Buendia from Norwich on a five-year contract for a club-record transfer fee.
The 24-year-old attacking midfielder finished the switch following Argentina’s draw with Colombia On the world Cup qualifiers and Villa are accounted for to have paid in the region on 30 million pounds.
“Emiliano has recently finished an exceptional season in a title winning Norwich side with 31 joined goals and assists and was named player of the season across the league,”Villa head coach Dean Smith said of Buendia.
“He is similarly able as a wide attacker or as a number 10 and is an extraordinary expansion to our attacking alternatives. We are pleased to have made a particularly energizing signing so right off the summer in the late spring and anticipate Emi getting together with us for a full pre-season.”
