Speaking with grief, he enlightened and reported to the newsmen about the recent development in the area which happened on the 30th day of May 2021. He said the story himself, highlighting that 4 communities in his Local Government Area were invaded by Fulani Herdsmen, which include Odokem, Ataloga, Ndigwe and Nduobasi Communities of Ado LGA in Benue South Senatorial district.

Abba Moro shared the ugly experience saying that the suspected Fulani Herdsmen were armed with heavy and sophiscated weapons during the attack, and they’ve left hundreds of Benue citizens homeless as many casualties were recorded.

He said the “assailants were heavily armed and that over 100 natives were gruesomely murdered with several victims lying critically ill in different places of treatment”. This is becoming outrageous and has come up to this level they no longer can keep mute about.

A sketchy report also surfaced indicating that the Ezza/Effium communities that share boundary with them were left more devasted after the attack, having it that majority of them fled away to unknown places, many left injured and homeless. He urged the Military and all security agencies to report immediately to the place of incident and emergency in the state whenever called upon.
