Abba Kyari is set to resume work as IGP has lifted his suspension after investigation over alleged ties with Hushpuppi.

Abba Kyari has been cleared to resume work.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police was placed on suspension and relieved from all police duties pending the outcome of an internal investigation into his alleged connection with fraudster Ramon Abbas, popularly known as “Hushpuppi.”

Following the investigation, the Inspector General of Police lifted his suspension.

A photo taken after his suspension was lifted shows excited colleagues lifting Kyari on their shoulders to celebrate him.
