Popular Edo state comedian, Osagie Idedia aka Porkupyne has narrated how his mum inspired his skits on Instagram.

The rising comedian, in a chat, narrated how the timely payment of his mum’s pension in Edo state inspired him to propagate some of the laudable achievements of the government.

He said, “When this current administration came, I was hearing from my mum that they just paid her pension on the 27th or 28th day of the month. I just felt so this thing can even happen like this, they can pay these people before the month-end so why owe them for like six to seven months?

“This act prompted my desire to encourage the government by doing comedy skits about what the government has done, the roads, hospitals and schools. It was because of the many skits that I met the deputy governor’s wife who commended my efforts and got me on board. This administration has since supported my talent hunt show in 2020,” said Porkupyne.

Idedia who recently arrived from the UK would be hosting the second edition of his talent show “Next Star Talent Hunt” on December 12, 2021.

Porkupyne, a graduate of microbiology from Ambrose Alli University, was the first runner-up in Peak talent show in 2010.
