Nigerian’s Tweeps React To Cross’ Nude Photos

A Big Brother Naija season 6 contestant, Cross, is currently a subject of discussion in the Nigerian digital space, most especially, Twitter.

Trending at number four on the microblogging site with over 134,000 tweets, the reality television show star is trending as his nude picture has leaked online.

The video Cross shared via Snapchat came with the caption “Shower Time” and his tattoos and manhood were all in full display. The video has been deleted.

The 30-year-old entrepreneur from Anambra was said to have mistakenly posted it on his Snapchat.

However, in an interview with TVC E Splash on the same day, the reality TV star stated that he mistakenly shared the photo on his Snapchat.

Cross stated that he wasn’t yet conversant with some of the new features on Snapchat, hence his mistake.

He said, “It was a simple mistake. It wasn’t a big deal. It was like a mistake. As I said earlier, I’m not really back with my phone. Once in a while, I keep using it. So, I didn’t know that Snapchat had changed a lot of features. So it was a mistake. It was just a mistake of a thing so it just went out quickly. When I noticed it, I quickly deleted it. It was a simple mistake.”(sic)

Despite admitting his mistake, Nigerian Twitter users have taken to their accounts to express their opinion on the issue.

A user of the microblogging site, OTUNBA via his handle @ManLikeIcey, queried why the reality TV show star will share a picture of his manhood online. He tweeted, “Why Cross go post manhood for Snapchat?”

Also reacting to the incident, the Twitter user, Rita “Laadii” Fredrick via her handle, @laadii0, compared Cross’ situation to Tiwa Savage’s, as she tweeted, “If you dragged Tiwa savage and you’re defending Cross, thunder fire you, if you defended Tiwa and you’re dragging Cross, thunder fire you too and if nothing concerns you like me, and you’re just here for the drama, thunder fire you also. Thunder fire everybody.” (sic).

Moreso, Machaala Jnr. Via his Twitter handle, @kusssman, opined that the reality TV star posted the video to ‘stay relevant.’

The user wrote, “Bro the housemates of the recently concluded BBNaija are doing more than enough to stay relevant. What was that video Cross posted?”

Cross leaked nude tape surfaces shortly after a video surfaced where his mother noted that she would use his platform to preach the gospel of God.

In the video, the reality TV star’s mother said, “It is funny but it is not funny. Companies are coming, brands are coming for their products. I, myself; I have my own product; the gospel is my own product. That is why I said, ‘Cross, as companies are calling you to be their ambassador, Holy Ghost school is calling you, Cross, to be our ambassador to preach the gospel.’ That is what I want. But Cross, other companies can pay you but we are not going to pay; you will do it for God.

“This is what I was called for and created for and whatever I can do to please and serve God, I will. My calling is preaching the gospel. God sent you there for the gospel.

“As companies are using your platform, I will also use it to preach the gospel. So what I ask you is that all the time whenever I need you, please give your consent for the gospel that we preach. All these your lovers, you know that there are a lot of them, tell them that Jesus needs them. So bring them to the Holy Ghost. We are going to ‘ship’ together. That is what I learnt from Big Brother, ‘shipping together’. We are going to ‘ship’ together with all your lovers and fans, in the name of Jesus
