“Ravine and gully erosions are dangerous to be seen in any residential area and is disheartening as Gully erosion has taken the capital of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.
It has been observed that the government of Akwa Ibom State has ignored this dangerous erosion collapsing buildings near the area of the Ravine. Many are rendered homeless because of the destructive force of the erosion and no help has been rendered by the Government of Akwa Ibom State and the Nigerian government at large.
The residents of Etim Okon Usanga, close 2 off Nwaniba road, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, call Gov. Udom Emmanuel to come to their aids as a ravine in that area has collapse buildings and more are at risk too…
The building seen closed to the ravine could be the next target, and there live a widow and her four kids… She needs help as that building is her only means of survival.
