I Hope Atiku Will Support Me Like I Supported Him – Actor, Yul Edochie

Yul, who ran for Governorship in Anambra under the Democratic People’s Congress (DPC) in 2017, hinted sometime in February that he will seek election as President in 2023.

According to him, his father, the veteran film actor, Pete Edochie has endorsed his presidential ambition in 2023.

Yul broke the news in a video shared on his social media pages.

“My Father Chief Pete Edochie endorses my 2023 Presidential ambition… God Almighty, take absolute control,” he captioned the post.

As 2023 draws closer, the movie star who already has his father’s blessing now seeks to get that of the former vice president because he was one of those who passionately supported and campaigned for his presidential bid in 2019.

Yul Edochie wrote: “In 2019 I supported Atiku @aatiku for President. I did it with my full chest, proudly.

I did not do it for money. I was not paid to do it. May God punish me if I lie.

“I even resigned from my Government appointment then so I could give Atiku my full support without any hindrance.

“I did it because I want a positive turnaround in our country. I ATIKULATED social media.

“I ATIKULATED the whole of Anambra State. I ATIKULATED all Nigerian youths who believed in me to stand with Atiku. Unfortunately, it turned out the way it did.

“This time around it’s the turn of the southeast to produce the next President. And I have declared my interest to run for President of Nigeria, 2023.

“I hope Atiku will support me the way I supported him. God bless our great country Nigeria.
