NILDS Holds Distinguished Parliamentarians Lecture

The National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS) is currently holding its distinguished parliamentarians lecture for 2021.

The event is ongoing at the African Hall of the International Conference Centre in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

This year’s edition of the lecture is tagged ‘Legislature, Legislative Mandate and the People – the Reality and the Public Perception’.

Among the parliamentarians who spoke at the event are Senate President and Chairman of NILDS Governing Council, Dr Ahmad Lawan; Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila (represented), and a former President of the Senate, Senator Ken Nnamani.

President Muhammadu Buhari was represented by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, while Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is expected to give a special remark.
