Nigerian entertainer, Samklef has blamed Nollywood for the rise in ritual killings.

Music producer Samklef has blamed Nollywood producers for the rise in ritual killings.

Born Samuel Oguachuba, the entertainer argued the promotion of fetish stuff in movies is responsible for the increase in ritual killings as it negatively influences young boys to perpetuate these acts.

“Igbo Nollywood, English and Yoruba movies are the reason why a lot of young boys are doing rituals. They keep promoting fetish stuff in all their movies,” he wrote.

The “Molowo Noni” crooner further urged movie producers to up their game in producing better movies that will impact youths.

“Nigerian movies producer can do better. Everything must not be based on juju and religion,” he added.
