A video footage showing a Nigerian man and a white woman quarreling in public in Lagos state has sparked controversy on the internet, with many people, and even blogs, speculating that the European lady was under spell casted upon her by the Nigerian man, whom they accuse of being an internet fraudster.

However, they alleged, that the lady was infuriated and started arguing with the Nigerian man after the charm or spell had been broken.

The blogs reported that the lady lamented that she has no knowledge on how she came to Nigeria.

However, the Lagos State Police spokesperson SP Benjamin Hundeyin debunked the speculations and revealed what actually transpired between the White Woman and her Nigerian partner.

SP Hundeyin that, contrary to the widely circulated claims, the woman has been with the Nigerian, since 2019. And, what led to argument was nothing more than couple disagreement which they both later resolved. Below are the tweets:

“False narrative! The woman is German. She has been living with her husband in that same house since February 2019. They had a misunderstanding yesterday which necessitated neighbors intervening. The Police arrived on time and took her to the station.”

The Police spokesperson continued: “She declined to be taken to the German embassy. She insisted on going back home with her husband. The husband too very willingly made up with her.
