How Police Arrested Four Fake Soldiers In Lagos

Police has arrested four fake soldiers in Lagos State.

The Nation reports that operatives of the Lagos Police Command have arrested four persons for allegedly impersonating the Nigerian Army (NA).

The suspects, comprising three men and a woman, were apprehended around 1:30am on Sunday by operatives attached to Iju Police Division.

They are Samuel Abel, 28, Victor ljeemai, 35, Lukman Salabiu, 43, and Oyinyechi Macus, 30, the police said.

They were all dressed in military camouflage and inside a Mazda3 saloon car heading to a yet to be disclosed destination.

The Nation gathered that one of the suspects who allegedly supplied the uniforms to the others, claimed to have been dismissed from the Army in 2019.

Police spokesman, SP Benjamin Hundeyin who confirmed the arrest, said the suspects have been transfered to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Yaba, for further investigation.
