African reigning Track & Field superstar Tobi Amusan has set a new World record in the women’s 100m hurdles, smashing the world record not once but twice in the process to win gold in women’s 100 meters hurdle.
She finished the race in 12.062s beating her own record in the semi finals
She had already destroyed the world record in the semi finals having ran 12.12s.
She became the first Nigerian athlete in history to ever set a World Record in any international event
Ese Brume also won a silver medal in the long jump silver.
