How Ritual Killers Murdered 14-Year-Old Girl In Plateau Village

It has been revealed how ritual killers murdered a 14-year-old girl in a Plateau village.

According to The Nation, a fourteen-year-old girl, Maryam Salisu, has been found dead in an outskirt of Babale community of Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.

The relatives of the deceased told our correspondent that Maryam’s body was found in the trench with her eyes, breasts, throat and tongue removed.

The mother of the deceased, Fatima Danliti, couldn’t hold back tears as narrated her last encounter with her daughter, adding that she had left everything to Allah.

She said, “It is painful but there is nothing I can do. It is left for the person that committed the crime and Allah.”

Aisha Sani, one of the girls that witnessed the incident, said, “We were together when suddenly the man hit Maryam on her head. We started begging him to leave her alone because we couldn’t understand what she did to deserve the hitting.”

According to Sani Babale, a resident and former counsellor of the area, the deceased, alongside 12 other girls went to a nearby bush to fetch firewood when Fatima was attacked, while the rest of them ran for safety.

He called on the State Police Command to deploy more police officers to the community.
