Rapper Cardi B Says It’s Time For Wedding

American rapper, Cardi B has said that it is time for wedding.

Despite having been married for half a decade, American rapper, Belcalis Almanzar aka Cardi B has declared it’s time for her wedding.

Cardi and her rap star hubby, Offset first began dating in 2017 and welcomed their daughter Kulture the following year.

The pair secretly married in September 2017 but later divorced, before getting back together and welcoming their son Wave, 12 months.

Cardi B was spotted enjoying a romantic date night with her partner Offset on Monday which left fans drooling.

Following the romantic candlelit dinner, the mother of two has now revealed it was about time for her wedding to beau.

“5 years married……it’s time for my wedding”, she tweeted.

Cardi B and Offset met in 2016 at an ‘industry event’ according to the former and their romantic relationship began in early 2017.

The duo secretly got married in Atlanta, Georgia on September 20, 2017. They said “I do” in their apartment and Cardi’s cousin was their only witness.

On October 27, 2017, Offset proposed to Cardi B onstage at a concert in Philadelphia, despite marrying each other a month earlier.

He presented the “Bodak Yellow” singer with a whopping 20-carat diamond ring that reportedly cost a half a million dollars.

Despite their public engagement, the celebrity couple was rocked by cheating rumors at the end of 2017 and into the new year. There were rumors that Offset cheated on Cardi and even made a sex tape with someone else.

Cardi B and Offset however, welcomed their first child together on July 10, 2018. They named their newborn daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus.

The announcement was marked by an extravagant nude photo of the pregnant singer.

On September 20, 2018, in honour of their first anniversary, Cardi shared a never-before-seen photo from the wedding day, which featured the ceremony exactly as she described a few months earlier. They exchanged marital vows in coordinating tracksuits.

On September 15, 2022, five days before celebrating their third wedding anniversary, Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset.

The divorce files claimed the marriage to be “irrevocably broken” and the singer requested child support.

But less than a month after filing for divorce, Offset was seen at Cardi B’s 28th birthday celebration in Las Vegas.

A series of Instagram videos showed the couple dancing with each other and sharing a few kisses.

Almost two months after filing for divorce, and one month after a very public display of affection, Cardi filed papers in Georgia to dismiss the previous motion.

The singer however, filed the dismissal “without prejudice,” meaning she could refile for divorce from Offset in the future.
