How Many Were Trapped As 7-Storey Building Under Construction Collapsed In Banana Island (Photos, Video)

It has been revealed how many people were trapped as seven-storey building under construction collapsed in Banana Island.

A seven-storey building under construction has collapsed inside Banana Island, Lagos State.

The incident happened on Wednesday afternoon, April 12, while concreting was ongoing on the sixth floor.

A statement by NEMA said workers are trapped in the building and its officials are mobilising the response team to rescue the trapped victims.

Photos from the scene of the collapse show people standing around the ruins of the building, trying to help those trapped I the rubble.

A worker is seen bleeding, dust covering his body, after he survived the collapse.

A fire truck can also be seen at the scene.
