Throwback Video: “He Will Be There To Serve The State And Not Me” – Wike

A viral throwback video has shown the moment Nyesom Wike said that he will never interfere in the government of his successor.

Nyesom Wike, the Former Rivers State governor and the current FCT minister in a throwback video while speaking with a Channels TV journalist, said;

“Is it only me? was he born to serve me? he will be there to serve the State, the problem we the leaders have is that you have succeeded to put the person you want in office, what next is it for him to fail or succeed, will you like to control him to do this or that, once you leave office, do yourself the favour of respecting yourself, I have done my own, if he needs my advice, it’s ok..” this response came when he was asked what he will do if his successor turns his back against him.

The Rivers State governor, Sim Fubara in the last few hours has been battling an impeachment process initiated by 24 members of the Rivers State House of Assembly.
