Suspected Armed Robbers Raids, Kills UNICAL Student (Photos)

Suspected armed robbers has raided and killed a UNICAL student in Calabar South Local Government Area, Cross River State, Brainnews report.

A four hundred level student of the department of political science, University of Calabar, Calabar, identified as Michael Efenji has been shot death by a suspected gang of armed robbers numbering over 30 persons.

The student according to information hails from Utugwang in Obudu Local Government Area of Cross River State.

The incident which occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, November 21, 2023 (2:30 AM), leaves fears and anxiety in the minds of students and residents of Eastern Highway, by Goldie Street, Calabar South.

Our reporter can not authoritatively account for what led to the shooting of the student as other victims were robbed of their belongings.

As at the time of filing this report, the corpse of the victim has been evacuated by the police.
