Kid Who Interviewed Barrack Obama In White House Dies At 23

Death is inevitable, and worse thing about it is, it does not select, it takes stars, legends and crooks alike.

The young talent who interviewed President Barrack Obama in the US Presidential Villa in 2009 has passed on in his 23, Brainnewspaper gathers.

Young Damon Weaver who was 10-years old when he interviewed President Obama and his then Vice, Joe Biden, died May 1, from natural causes, his sister, Candace Hardy told the Palm Beach Post.

The interview in White House toppled the internet, it was a life time opportunity for the kid WPTV notes.

Damon graduated from Royal Palm Beach High School, and started Albany State University in Georgia afterwards, to study Communications.

“Damon was the kid who ran after me in the hall to tell me he was interested. And right away, I just saw the potential for the way he was on camera. You could see his personality come through. He wasn’t nervous being on camera,” his teacher, Brian Zimmerman, as AP quotes, said in 2016.

His sister while speaking with The Post couldn’t hold her tears. She said, Damon was forced to come home from school during the pandemic last December, and then tragedy May 1.

“My brother texted me that he was at the hospital, and by the time I got there from where I was, he had already passed away.

“He was so smart, so bright. He was just a nice person, genuine, very intelligent, very outspoken, outgoing. He never said no to anybody,” Candace sobbed.

Damon during the interview with America’s then president, AP notes, focused on education, asking questions on school lunches, conflict resolution, how to succeed and bullying.

He also asked Obama to be his “home boy”, saying Vice president Joe Biden had already accepted.

Obama who was very impressed, smiled and replied, saying, “absolutely”.
